It’s not just a box, it’s packaging design

So over the past 12 months we’ve been so focused on designing Rhoost child-proofing products we almost forgot that the packaging is as important as the product itself!  Simply put – the packaging is the ‘first impression’ the consumer has of your product.

It’s deep ya’ll.

Ask yourself,

  • Are the key messages clearly conveyed on your packaging so that even the busiest consumer will notice them?
  • Is there consistency in the package design of the entire product line so your brand is immediately recognized?
  • Can your box be displayed hanging and on a shelf?
  • If your products are green – is your packaging recyclable too?

Like I said, it’s deep.

Worried it will be overwhelming? Thankfully there is help!  You can learn from others by looking at packaging you like.  There are also great resources out there dedicated to all things packaging.  Some of our favorites are The Dieline and the Packaging Diva…yes diva!

For Rhoost, the key messages on our table corner protector and cabinet closure packaging are:

  • Safety in the home
  • Function without adhesives and screws
  • Sustainability – our products and packaging are 100% recyclable
  • Portability – you can use Rhoost products anytime, anywhere!

Look for clear messages on our future products as well!
